Is "online adultery" a case for divorce?
If my husband goes on a website and satisfies himself with that, can it considered a case for divorce, since he is committing adultery with images of other women? Go to Robin's response.

How do you address shame from past abuse and overeating?
I am trying to work through issues on codependency and compulsive eating. I can see that some of the root is the abuse from my childhood. I am thankful I am learning to spot those ways of "coping" sooner, but sometimes that makes me more insecure - like I have not grown fast enough and that God is mad at me. Do you have any insights that might help? Go to Robin's response.

How do I remain faithful when my husband struggles with faith?
I find it very difficult to find security in faith when I see my spouse's faithlessness. It is so hard when I see God answer prayers and work in his life to love him and then see him resist having faith. I love God more than anything and will never give up, but struggle with fear, sadness, faithlessness and weakness. Can you give me any advice? Go to Robin's response.

Are sexual instructional videos appropriate within Christian marriage?

My husband wants us to try out sexual instructional videos to make our relationship better. Is this kind of material appropriate for a Christian marriage? I’m afraid I would be sacrificing my integrity to please my husband. Do you have any biblical insight into this issue? Go to Robin's response.

How do you overcome Satan's accusations?

The battle for me has always been in my mind. When I became a Christian, Satan's whispers were, "You didn't respond right to the Cross," and "You are not a true Christian." The condemning thoughts have followed me into my marriage and being a mom. Do you have any wisdom that might encourage my soul? Go to Robin's response.

How do I get along/build unity with other women?

Ever since I moved into a household with other women, it has been difficult to get along. Do you have any advice on how to establish unity in the home? Go to Robin's response.

How do I overcome destructive thoughts?

Since I became a Christian over twenty years ago, I have struggled with angry thoughts and cursing in my mind. Do you have any advice on how to overcome my destructive thoughts? Go to Robin's response.

How can I win back my wife after sexual addiction?
After confessing my sexual addiction to my wife, she understandably divorced me. How can I best minister to her knowing how I’ve abused her trust? Go to Robin's response.

How do I surrender my parent's salvation?

Something that weighs on my heart is whether or not my parents become Christians. Do you have any advice for how to surrender their salvation to God and rest secure in their decision? Go to Robin's response.

Any suggestions for dealing with an alcoholic parent?

I often have a hard time sharing about my mom and feel insecure about her alcoholism. In your book, you talk about growing up with an alcoholic father. How do you relate to your him today? Go to Robin's response.

How can I overcome insecurity about the way I look?

How do you deal with insecurities about the way you look? Can you give some Scriptures about dealing with this? Go to Robin's response.

Should my husband meet my emotional needs?

What is the balance between looking to my husband to meet my emotional needs and taking responsibility for them myself? Go to Robin's response.

How can I be more secure in my salvation?

As much as I try to have faith, I still have times when I doubt my salvation. Can you give me any thoughts on how to be more secure in my salvation? Go to Robin's response.

Is there a difference between identity and security in Christ?

I want to study the difference between “knowing your identity in Christ” and being “secure in Christ.” I wondered if your book helps define this difference? Can you tell me a little more about your book? Go to Robin’s response.

Any suggestions for overcoming an eating disorder?

I was struck by your chapter about being successful, because I identify with so much of what you've described. I am a junior at an Ivy League school and a college athlete. Before I started studying the Bible, I was intent upon being flawless. I developed an eating disorder in college, which has since grown far worse… I am trying to get healthy again and pray for peace with my perception of my body. How did you get over it? Go to Robin’s response.

Why do women feel insecure?

You list several areas of concern that foster a woman's sense of security. What would you say is the most common denominator among women who face issues of insecurity? Go to Robin’s response.

What should I do if I discover my husband uses pornography?

In the book, you share about your husband's struggles with sexual addiction. What should I do if I discover my husband is involved in pornography or other sexual activities outside of marriage? Go to Robin’s response.

Will others love me if I'm vulnerable?

Could you elaborate further on the point you made in chapter 10, p. 228 about how Satan will try to discourage us from opening up to others..."In this way he can keep us from the truth that if we persevere, we'll endear ourselves to other women by talking about how we really are". Do you mean that we would enable ourselves as women to be loved by others when we are open and vulnerable about our character? Go to Robin’s response.

How can I make my women's book group successful?

Our Soup and Security group didn't seem to get off to a running start. Can you talk about the best way to start this group and how to keep it on track? Go to Robin’s response.

Why do I get defensive?

In a lot of ways, I’ve grown in my security. But I still tend to have extreme reactions to correction–either flying off the handle or starting crying, or both. Can you give me any input? Go to Robin’s response.

Are men insecure too?

In my experience and reading of Scripture, insecurity isn’t a gender-defined problem. Why have you written only to women? Go to Robin’s response.

What is God's love language?

In the study guide for Chapter 4, it asks me to read Jeremiah 31:33-35. I'm not sure exactly what I am looking for when I read this scripture. It’s the section that asks me to write how I can make myself more vulnerable, personal and accessible to God. Go to Robin’s response.

Does prayer change God's mind?

Since God is omnipotent and his will is His will, does petitioning really change his mind? How? Why? Go to Robin’s response.
